QuickStep Website Editor™ works directly on your website pages. You get to them via a hidden "trigger" on each of your pages, and log in once at the beginning of your editing session.

Mini Tutorial

  • To edit a page you "trigger" QuickStep by double-clicking anywhere in the footer of the page. The first time you do this a window will open for you to log in. After that (as long as your browser is open) you will not have to log in again.
  • The trigger causes green Edit Tags to appear. They mark the pre-defined "Editable Regions". Click one to edit that text.
  • After you click a green Edit Tag the content of the corresponding Editable Region will appear in a text editor (shown above). You'll make your changes and then click a Save icon or the Submit link.
  • Changes are saved directly to the live website. If you don't see the changes you made just Refresh the page to clear the old version out of your cache. You navigate the website normally to get to any page you want to edit, and double-click its footer to edit.
