Standard Included Services

All of the following services are included at no extra cost with the base price of your Silver, Gold or Crystal website design package:

  • One to ten pages of text content.
  • Evaluate text you've written and suggest how best to organize your website to maximize visitor interest and boost your search engine rankings.
  • Size and crop one digital photo of you and put it on one of your pages, e.g., Home, About or Contact page.
  • Put your name in a nice graphic font that's integrated with the design.
  • Build and style navigation menu(s) that go on every page, including submenus and breadcrub menus if your website has a hierarchical structure.
  • Walk you through Search Engine Optimization so that you understand it, and together we will SEO your website prior to launch.
  • Put your editorial "story" text and "feature" text into each page and format your headings, body text, bullet lists, bold/italics and links consistently throughout the website as designed. (Note that complex formatting requirements such as tables or fancy sectioning of text segments is not included with the base price but can be ordered as an add-on.)
  • Set up a Google Account and Google Analytics for you, and connect every page on your website to the Analytics
  • Install your website on an independent hosting account. You can host your website wherever you want. We recommend Hostgator. All you need is the Hatchling account which will cost you only $4.95 a month. Compare this to $39 or even $59 a month that you'll pay with some of our competitors who hold your website hostage to keep you locked into paying these exhorbitant monthly charges forever!
  • Your website and domain are absolutely yours to keep, and you retain complete control of them.

Optional Additional Services

Most of the following optional extra services can be ordered for any of our websites: Silver, Gold or Crystal. Just add the Cost to the base price of your web design package for a pretty accurate estimate of what your website will cost.

  • Additional pages if ten is not enough

Cost: Generally $50 per page plus per-page cost of "local" images or colors (discussed below) if applicable.

Note that we determine "pages" by word count, so nothing is gained by trying to get everything into one extremely long page! It's better for your visitors and better for your search engine rankings to divide long texts into multiple physical pages, usually with a hierarchical navigation structure to create a logical, intuitive organization. This is why we set the number of included pages so much higher than the five that most people think is plenty.

  • Help with your text

Cost: Available at our current hourly consultation rate.
Most therapists benefit greatly by investing in our Content Editing service.

  • Use a different font for your name graphic than what comes standard with a Silver or Bronze template

Cost: $40 if you choose one of the fonts we have available. Otherwise this could incur extra charges to research and procure additional fonts for you.

  • "Local" images of your choice for individual pages

Cost: There's a $200 charge to initiate and support this, but not in addition to local color initiation and support (which can be done concurrently). It will include a meeting we do online/on phone to sort and choose your images together. Successful-Therapist will purchase and acquire each image, size/crop it optimally for the design, and place it in the page in an elegantly styled way. Add $50/image

  • "Local" colors on individual pages

Cost: There's a $200 charge to initiate and support this, but not in addition to local image initiation and support (which can be done concurrently). It will include a meeting we do to pick your colors together. Add $30/page

  • Contact form (as opposed to just contact information)

Cost: Probably around $50 to $100 unless you have something nonstandard in mind.

  • Complex formatting for your text

Cost: If you need tables or other complex formatting of your text this service is available at our current hourly consultation rate. We'll give you an estimate.

  • Website editing tools.

Cost: $200. You get a license to use our editing tools for your domain on any server, and we install everything you need so that you can edit your own website.

  • Website editing personal one-on-one instruction.

Cost: Consultation available if you want it at our current consultation rate. It's unlikely you will need this because our user manual is very clear.

  • Have us make modifications to your website for you after it's built.

Cost: Available at our current hourly consultation rate.

  • Install a Wordpress blog on your server.

Cost: TBD

  • Customize the look of your Wordpress blog to match your website.

Cost: TBD

  • Add the ability to accept credit card payments through your website.
